Configure DNS for a Nutanix Cluster

DNS allows for services and users to access resources through the network via names instead of IP addresses. Because network names are typically much easier to remember it is recommended to leverage DNS for your Nutanix cluster instead of configuring settings by IP. If you cluster is configured with DNS, it also allows for Acropolis to reach out to other external services, such as email, network time, Nutanix Pulse, and the Nutanix Updater. To configure DNS lookup capabilities in your Nutanix cluster, follow along with this video.
